The THIS X THAT Store Pop-Up is open at the Geffen Contemporary at MOCA from January 18, 2018 through May 12, 2018. The popup features limited-edition objects for home and garden that offer imaginative solutions for everyday life, designed by five emerging architecture offices: Architecture Office, Besler & Sons, Joanna Grant and Jimenez Lai of BUREAU SPECTACULAR, New Affiliates and WELCOMECOMPANIONS.
The display installation, “Trusses on Trucks,” is designed by Besler & Sons. As a built structure within the space, the pieces become an exterior in an interior, a house inside a warehouse – made to display housewares and other domestic objects.
