Studio J. Jih and Figure’s Hairpin House is featured on the cover of WABISABI's March/April 2023 Issue No. 8. The home’s geometric complexity and constraints related to the tight building envelope lead to a reimagined staircase to cascades obliquely through the four-story rowhouse, taking on the winding nature of the mountain road as inspiration and establishing the home’s material palette.
